LoftWorks, a developer in St. Louis, focuses on the revitalization of the downtown area by creating amazing office, retail and residential areas.
With four years of construction beginning on Highway 40, the major artery connecting all of St. Louis County to the city, LoftWorks wanted to urge businesses to move their company downtown as well as their homes.
After brainstorming, we came up with the idea of Fortysil. Highway 40 construction is the problem and Fortysil is the cure. Playing off of trite medical advertising, we designed postcards and a website to initially look like another medication. It wasn't until you read the headlines and copy that you found out that this is unlike any medication that's come before.
Fortysil is likened to a treatment: moving downtown. When you work and live downtown, construction on 40 and long commutes are a thing of the past.
The postcards directed readers to visit www.fortysil.com where they could find out everything from symptoms that require Fortysil, how Fortysil works, common questions and if Fortysil was right for them.
