Atomicdust Cooks Up a New Website and Packaging for Rockwood Charcoal

It’s no secret that Atomicdust is bit barbecue-crazed. So when Rockwood Charcoal asked us to add some fresh flavor to their branding, we were all fired up.

Atomicdust Wins Two Healthcare Advertising Awards

Atomicdust recently was honored with two awards at the Thirtieth Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report. The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition, honoring creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

This year, there were nearly 4,000 entries, making the competition the largest in the industry. Atomicdust won silver in the New Media/Social Media category for our Elsevier ClinicalKey 'Key Innovators' Campaign, and our work for St. Louis Children’s Hospital was awarded bronze in the Annual Report category.

We’re proud of our award-winning work, and honored to be included alongside some of the best healthcare marketing agencies in the country.

Atomicdust Designs a Home on the Web for Hip + Gable

When our friends at Hip & Gable Interiors needed a new website, we were happy to lend a hand. As interior designers, they had already built their sense of design style—we wanted to build a website to match.

To start, the Hip & Gable site uses simple, elegant design mixed with surprises of color to show off the company’s design capabilities. The site is responsive and stays true to Hip & Gable’s clean and sophisticated design style as it adjusts to any screen. Read more about our website design work for Hip and Gable.

Atomicdust’s Anders Branding Featured on Fast Company’s ‘Co.Design’

As you may know, we recently wrapped up a naming, branding and collateral project for Anders, a St. Louis CPA firm. Today, the work was featured on Fast Company’s design website, Co.Design

Here’s a little of what Co.Design had to say about our work:

The official logomark is a sleek, translucent triangle that spins off of the A in Anders. A gradient library of colors change depending on context. That, plus a friendly-looking new website, makes the whole company seem fairly approachable--no small feat for an industry that many of only think about when we absolutely have to.

Fast Company is widely recognized as one of the leading business publications in the world. Its mission is to inspire readers to think beyond traditional boundaries, lead conversation and create the future of business.

We’re big fans of their design website, Co.Design, which highlights the world’s best examples of design and innovation. It’s an incredible honor to see our work on a site that recognizes the importance of design in business. The site is on our must-read-daily list, and is often our go-to source for the latest news and inspiration.

Atomicdust Wins Gold at the 2013 ADDY Awards

Last Thursday was the 2013 ADDY Awards, presented by Ad Club St. Louis - an opportunity to mix, mingle and, most importantly, celebrate the great marketing and design work in St. Louis from the past year.

Building a Modern Identity and Website for Homeyer

When you think “tool and die manufacturer” the first words that pop into your head probably won’t be “modern” or "high tech.” In most cases, you’d be right. But not if you were talking about Atomicdust client, formerly known as Homeyer Tool and Die.

They came to us looking for a new identity and website to reflect the changing nature of their business. Sure, tool and die work has been the foundation of their company and will always be part of their operation. But it’s dwindling. And they’ve smartly responded by shifting to precision manufacturing for some very demanding industries, like healthcare, military, aviation and energy.

Atomicdust Redesigns Yurbuds Website (Again)

Atomicdust was recently chosen to design and develop a site for Yurbuds, a brand of water- and sweat-proof sport earphones that won’t fall out of your ears during exercise. (The sound they produce is pretty great, too.)

Here’s the twist: we’ve tackled this project before

In 2011, Atomicdust designed the marketing portion of the Yurbuds site. This time around, we went bigger, creating the front end design, integrating a content management system, enabling the easy transfer of sales to distributors, and revamping the e-commerce experience. Our design transformed a landing page with several horizontal “sections” into a full-blown site with dedicated pages for each product.

The result? The largest sales e-commerce site we've ever done.

Atomicdust’s Crafty Camp Out for St. Louis Children’s Hospital

Atomicdust was asked once again to get crafty for St. Louis Children's Hospital following the success of the organization's 2012 annual report.

The direct mail piece called “Trystan’s Camp Out” tells the story of one child's experience during a year at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Trystan is a 9-year-old who loves the great outdoors, and the theme of her booklet was “MORE camping trips” - a callback to the “MORE” theme of the annual report.
