Thompson Coburn, a nationwide law firm, was seeking a consultant to help plan and design their content-rich website. In order for them to stand out among outdated law firm sites, we approached the project with a fresh and open design that more reflected their mission of always pushing forward.
One of the biggest challenges with this project was the amount of content that would be available on the site. With pages and pages of copy, the site structure and usability was as much a key component as the look and feel. The main goal was to keep the abundance of information digestible and easy to find for the visitors. Working closely with their project manager, we laid out a successful website structure and design, and then handed it over for their internal development team to build out.

We’re happy to show our latest work for Mosby’s Nursing Suite, which occupied a lot of our team's time earlier this year. We created marketing materials, including a revamped website, print brochures, videos and trade show components. We’re also steering things in the right direction for the brand on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We think the work really stands apart in the healthcare category.

Ah, graphic design. This month, we celebrated our eighth year of business with our usual office party full of food, drinks and friends. Thanks to everyone who came by to help us celebrate, and thank you to everyone who’s supported us over the years. See you next year.

At Atomicdust, we try to set aside one day each month to focus on our company culture. We meet in the morning to discuss business- where the company has been and where it’s going. Then we head out of the office for some lunch and a little fun out and about in Saint Louis. In the past, it’s been trips to Houlihan’s and Tropicana Bowl, but this month we decided to do something a little different.
We recently put our creative skills to the test with a field trip to All Along Press. We got some real hands-on experience, screenprinting our own shirts and working with a letterpress.
We came to the shop with a couple of graphics created by our own designers. The team at All Along Press then walked us through every step of the process, from prepping the screens and mixing the ink, all the way to printing our shirts.
We had a great time hanging out there for the afternoon (and evening), and a special thanks goes out to the group at All Along Press for letting us invade their space all day!
For some highlights from the day, check out this video or browse the photos we posted on Facebook.
And have an idea of where we should go on our next outing? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter.

CPMRC's Point of Care Guidelines have been the leading interdisciplinary guidelines for hospitals for over 20 years. Their guidelines get everyone in the hospital on the same page in order to provide the best patient care. In the past, the guidelines were sent out in a paper or CD format. With a plan to launch their new web-based version of the guidelines, we created a set of materials to get the message out to their audience.
The first part of the campaign was the website. Just as their product stands out from a sea of other guidelines, we crafted a site that stood out from their competitors. We used imagery and movement that showed how Point of Care Guidelines connected everyone in the hospital. That, coupled with digestible explanations of how the product worked, resulted in a site that is clean, concise and a breath of fresh air to the industry.
Check out Point of Care Guidelines.

When we begin new relationships with clients, they are sometimes dismissive of their current marketing materials. If it’s their website, brochure, newsletter or whatever, they will quickly point out how bad they think it is.
So, where do organizations start to get their marketing on track? I suggest a clear, central message. Read more.

After spending way too much time on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook lately, I can’t help but notice the amount of content people are generating and aggregating. I follow people “professionally” on Twitter and LinkedIn, and I see articles and blog posts on almost every topic imaginable. People are using social media to develop their personal and professional brands.
So is content the new black? Is content replacing creative? Read more

Our work for Franchise Concepts’ Deck the Walls and The Great Frame Up recently launched. While most any craft or hobby store has a framing sections, these guys set themselves apart as the framing experts.
Each brand wanted help showcasing the variety of framing options and the expertise of the employees in the stores. So we put the framed items right where they should be- the center of attention.
The result was a pair of sites that showed people all of the memories they could capture- whether it be their child’s first art class project or that game-winning hockey puck. They got the message: if there’s something to be framed, I need to take it here.
In addition to rebranding the corporate sites, we also provided a solution to help franchise owners keep their sites consistent with the corporate brand. Each franchisee had created a website for their own store, and each site had a completely different look and feel form the next. This created a major disconnect from the main brand.
To alleviate this problem, we provided a variety of templates for individual franchise owners to choose from. As a result, they could personalize their specific store with special offers and photos, while still keeping the consistent look and feel of the corporate brand.
After developing the strategy and producing the initial creative, we gave the files to their internal team to code up. You can check out the sites here:
