Atomicdust wins 23 Targeted Advertising and Marketing (TAM) Awards

Looks like we’ve set a new record for ourselves! Last night, we won 23 awards at the annual Business Marketing Association show, including six Best-in-Class and the People’s Choice award.

From the Starlight Room atop the Chase Park Plaza, the future of marketing and advertising in St. Louis looks bright – as evidenced by the record number of entries in the 2011 Targeted Advertising and Marketing (TAM) Awards. They received more than 250 entries for 32 categories, celebrating advertising in all forms - printed pieces, websites, three-dimensional displays and more.

The 23 awards we took home included honors for websites, print campaigns, social media, logo design, trade show graphics and email campaigns. We were also recognized with the People’s Choice Award, for a multifaceted superhero-themed campaign created for Mosby’s Nursing Suite, and earned a sweep of the blog category.

The annual awards show is the only one dedicated exclusively to honoring business-to-business marketing excellence. It is sponsored by the St. Louis chapter of the Business Marketing Association.

A big congratulations are in order for the whole Atomicdust team. Thank you to all the designers, developers, copywriters and account managers that work hard to produce award-winning work from year to year!

Elsevier Advantage

Having just carved out a new set of brand standards, Elsevier Nursing/Health Professions came to us to for some help in starting to implement them. First to get the overhaul were two products from Elsevier Advantage, the Assessment and Simulations programs.

In addition to a new look and feel, they were in need of a customer-centric message that would not only reposition the products, but do it in a way that would connect with faculty members who’d be responsible for purchasing such products. They needed a big idea.

After becoming experts in the new standards, we designed product brochures that sported a new look and new messaging that would reach faculty members with a theme that was near and dear to them- the journey of students becoming nurses. We wanted to iterate that as the students prepare for their all-important licensure exams, Elsevier is there every step of the way. View the project in our work section.

New Work for Mosby

We’re happy to show our latest work for Mosby’s Nursing Suite, which occupied a lot of our team's time earlier this year. We created marketing materials, including a revamped website, print brochures, videos and trade show components. We’re also steering things in the right direction for the brand on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We think the work really stands apart in the healthcare category.

Atomicdust’s Self-Promotional Postcards reviewed in Small Business Monthly

Our award winning self promotional postcards were reviewed in this month’s issue of Small Business Monthly by Dan Klein, David Meyer and Brian Schwartz.

The guys gave us a great review, calling the postcards a ‘great example of clean, bold design.’ Klein also praised our ‘creative that matters’ message, saying, “Clients are bottom line driven, and can be fearful of creativity or change. By stressing both strategy and results, they’ve effectively assuaged these fears.”

In September, these same postcards were Bronze Award Winners at the Business Marketing Association of St. Louis’ Targeted Marketing and Advertising (TAM) Awards.

Special thanks to the guys over at Spoke Marketing for giving us such a great review, and make sure to check out the full article at Small Business Monthly.

Being a nurse is stressful, right? Long hours, funny shoes, bad cafeteria food, catheters… So when we put together an online promotion for nurses to try Mosby’s Nursing Suite, we wanted to give them something in return that would help them relax a little.  Participating nurses received a $25 gift card to Bath and Body Works in a sharp little mailer and a chance to win the Grand Prize Spa Vacation. If you’re a nurse or know someone who is check out confidenceconnected.com for details.
