Thanks to Midtown Printing

Last year, we did branding and identity work for U.S. Crisis Care, a non-profit organization that helps communities provide support to people affected by sudden traumatic events.

Our good friends at Midtown Printing helped the organization by generously donating labor and printing for some of their promotional collateral.

So a big thank you to Skip Bray and everyone at Midtown Printing for helping out and doing a little good in the world. You rock.

Atomicdust’s Crafty Camp Out for St. Louis Children’s Hospital

Atomicdust was asked once again to get crafty for St. Louis Children's Hospital following the success of the organization's 2012 annual report.

The direct mail piece called “Trystan’s Camp Out” tells the story of one child's experience during a year at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Trystan is a 9-year-old who loves the great outdoors, and the theme of her booklet was “MORE camping trips” - a callback to the “MORE” theme of the annual report.

Atomicdust Gets Crafty for St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Annual Report

Atomicdust may be a primarily digital agency, but we jump at the chance to work on exceptional print projects that allow us to color outside of the lines. That’s why we went all out to create something special for St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s annual report.

The concept we created for this year’s report was “more,” a reflection of the hospital’s commitment to more lifesaving cures and treatments, more moments with loved ones, more exceptional patient care. Inspired by the hospital’s belief that fear and stress should be removed from the hospital experience, we decided that the report should pair the comforting familiarity of children’s arts and crafts projects with sophisticated photography and design.

Atomicdust lends a hand for U.S. Crisis Care’s branding and marketing

When we were first introduced to U.S. Crisis Care by a board member – and Atomicdust client – what we found was a small, passionate organization doing some very important work. Their mission was fairly well articulated:

“...a nonprofit organization that supports the development and operation of community crisis care programs...”

Their goals were pretty clear, they were organized and had had many accomplishments over the past 25 years. In this case, Atomicdust met U.S. Crisis Care at a time when they seemed to have their situation figured out. We weren’t sure where we were needed, but we wanted to help the organization... and we believed in our ability to help even the most successful groups get even better. They agreed to let us apply our Branding Program to see what Atomicdust could do to strengthen their efforts.

Atomicdust wins 23 Targeted Advertising and Marketing (TAM) Awards

Looks like we’ve set a new record for ourselves! Last night, we won 23 awards at the annual Business Marketing Association show, including six Best-in-Class and the People’s Choice award.

From the Starlight Room atop the Chase Park Plaza, the future of marketing and advertising in St. Louis looks bright – as evidenced by the record number of entries in the 2011 Targeted Advertising and Marketing (TAM) Awards. They received more than 250 entries for 32 categories, celebrating advertising in all forms - printed pieces, websites, three-dimensional displays and more.

The 23 awards we took home included honors for websites, print campaigns, social media, logo design, trade show graphics and email campaigns. We were also recognized with the People’s Choice Award, for a multifaceted superhero-themed campaign created for Mosby’s Nursing Suite, and earned a sweep of the blog category.

The annual awards show is the only one dedicated exclusively to honoring business-to-business marketing excellence. It is sponsored by the St. Louis chapter of the Business Marketing Association.

A big congratulations are in order for the whole Atomicdust team. Thank you to all the designers, developers, copywriters and account managers that work hard to produce award-winning work from year to year!

Elsevier Advantage

Having just carved out a new set of brand standards, Elsevier Nursing/Health Professions came to us to for some help in starting to implement them. First to get the overhaul were two products from Elsevier Advantage, the Assessment and Simulations programs.

In addition to a new look and feel, they were in need of a customer-centric message that would not only reposition the products, but do it in a way that would connect with faculty members who’d be responsible for purchasing such products. They needed a big idea.

After becoming experts in the new standards, we designed product brochures that sported a new look and new messaging that would reach faculty members with a theme that was near and dear to them- the journey of students becoming nurses. We wanted to iterate that as the students prepare for their all-important licensure exams, Elsevier is there every step of the way. View the project in our work section.

New Work for Mosby

We’re happy to show our latest work for Mosby’s Nursing Suite, which occupied a lot of our team's time earlier this year. We created marketing materials, including a revamped website, print brochures, videos and trade show components. We’re also steering things in the right direction for the brand on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We think the work really stands apart in the healthcare category.
