Fresh Faces: Designer Jessica Davis Joins Atomicdust

With so many big projects in the works, the Atomicdust team continues to grow.

We’re excited to announce that Jessica Davis has joined us as a designer. She’s a native Texan who graduated from Texas Tech with a BFA in graphic design. After college, she moved to St. Louis to work in-house for a local nonprofit. We’re glad to welcome her to the agency side of things.

Growing up, she wanted to be a professional saxophone player, and looked up to the talented Lisa Simpson. Even though Jessica has always had a love for art, she didn’t fully pursue it until college, where she discovered Art Chantry and found inspiration in his work. If his name doesn’t ring a bell, he’s most known for timeless punk rock posters, created with his famously hands-on style using an x-acto knife and a copy machine. Jessica’s designs combine that old-school flair with an innate sense of organization and minimalism to create something that’s entirely her own style.

After work, Jessica spends most of her time hanging out with her fellow designer husband and their nine-month-old daughter. Even though Jessica loves meal planning and cooking at home, she tries to explore the best new restaurants as often as possible. In her downtime, she’s a serial binge-watcher of The Good Wife.

So far in her career, she is happy to have learned the value of collaboration: that, creatively, everyone has something to bring to the table. For inspiration, Jessica looks to her surroundings, finding the art and order within physical spaces. She’s looking forward to continuing that work here at Atomicdust, and we’re glad to have her.

Now that you’re acquainted, stay tuned for our next event where you can say hello!
