Introducing Drew Douglass: Atomicdust’s New Developer

Though 2014 is drawing to a close, we’re as busy as ever at Atomicdust. So we brought on another developer to keep the stream of websites flowing freely. And it’s time to introduce you to Drew Douglass. He’s a native St. Louisan and, to answer the inevitable follow-up question, he went to Lafayette High School.

As he began college at Columbia College, Drew tried his hand at psychology and ichthyology, the study of fish. But after landing on web design and development, he never looked back. While in college, Drew worked in customer service solving issues large and small. Now, that combination of solid development skills and the ability to communicate clearly through complex problems makes Drew an asset to everyone at Atomicdust – and all of our clients.

Drew was enamored by how writing backend code translates into real, functional websites. He has a desire to keep learning and growing his development skill set. And that’s what drives him to spend every available moment digging into the latest web development tools and learning new coding languages.

When he’s away from his computer, chances are Drew is lacing up his skates to play hockey or unwinding with his wife, Allie, and mini-dachshund, Gigabyte. It’s safe to say that Drew is now our biggest hockey fan – he hasn’t missed a Blues game in recent memory and even collects hockey cards.

The next time you’re at our office (perhaps to drop off your Toys for Tots donation?) be sure to give Drew a warm welcome.
