Meet Tyler Wait, Our New Design Intern

This year, during our annual call for interns, we brought Tyler Wait on board to help out with design work and give him some real world experience. When school starts back up next semester, Tyler will be a senior, rounding out his degree in graphic design at UMSL.

He’s been involved in the local music scene since high school, and the inherent need of t-shirts, posters and flyers helped Tyler get his feet wet with graphic design. In between classes and his time here, Tyler entertains his love of music by playing guitar, going to concerts, collecting vinyl records and blaring music from the 90s during his commute from Lebanon, IL.

Beyond music, Tyler loves modernist design, drawing inspiration from work by Wim Crouwel and Josef Müller-Brockmann. He’s also a fan of dogs and deep-dish pizza. While he is a proud Metro East St. Louisan, he hasn’t quite developed a taste for Imo’s yet. We’ll let it slide.

Remember the days of summer breaks, and let’s give Tyler a warm welcome.

We’re still on the hunt for two interns, if you’ve got what it takes in web development or online marketing, apply today.
