Gateway EDI
Gateway EDI is a clearinghouse that processes medical billing claims between physicians' offices and insurance companies, helping physicians get paid for the services they provide. They enjoy one of the greatest vendor reseller programs in the industry, yielding excellent ROI for their partners and providing industry leading customer service with their support network. To further their success among resellers, Gateway EDI sought to grab the attention of potential vendors by demonstrating the benefits of the program through a direct mail campaign. While direct mail pieces often tend to be flat and unremarkable, this campaign turned out to be one of our most unique projects. We designed an unforgettable piece that enforced the program's benefits: 'Little Investment. Giant Return.' After painting them "Gateway EDI Purple", we filled gumball machines with one dollar bills and strips of paper printed with quotes used in their customer service training. The machine only cost 10¢ to use and would dispense a dollar, thus illustrating the idea of how Gateway EDI shares revenue with its vendors. Recipients got the message: This isn’t your typical vendor program. The campaign was very well received, garnering response within 24 hours of the first mailing and continues to be a success today.
