Social Media & Content Intern
Atomicdust is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media & Content Intern to support our internal marketing efforts. This is a 3-month internship with the possibility of joining the team permanently. College juniors and seniors are welcome to apply, as are new graduates looking to enter the marketing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Writing short- to long-form content, from social media captions to blogs and ebooks
- Updating and copyediting website content
- Brainstorming and creating social media strategy and content
- Implementing social media strategy, including writing, copyediting, video production and editing, light photography and scheduling
- Using analytics tools to evaluate performance and influence strategy
- Growing our audience and representing the Atomicdust brand through community management
You should have:
- Excellent writing and copy editing capabilities for a variety of mediums
- A marketing, journalism, communications, English or similar degree, or be on track to complete degree, or have comparable experience
- Experience developing social media content for an organization or brand through internships, classes, jobs or extracurriculars
- A solid understanding of social media platforms, their capabilities and limitations, and how to use them to support an organization’s goals
- Strong time management and communication skills and the ability to multitask
- Preferred: experience with social media tools such as Buffer, Later or Hootsuite
- Preferred: a basic understanding of SEO and content marketing
