Digital Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to run the engine behind our clients’ marketing programs — the emails, social posts, campaigns and event promotions that go out for a roster of great B2B brands, every single month.
Think of this role as the person who makes sure it all actually happens. Our strategists figure out the what and why, our creative team makes it beautiful, and you make sure it’s built, scheduled, listed, linked, approved and sent — on time, to the right people, looking right in every inbox.
Day to day, you’ll work across our full stack: building email campaigns and workflows in HubSpot, publishing content and landing pages in WordPress, building and enriching audience lists in Clay, keeping projects honest in ClickUp, and pulling performance together in AgencyAnalytics and Google Analytics. Every client’s setup is a little different — part of the job is knowing where everything lives.
We should also mention: we use AI tools like Claude every day, and we’ve automated a lot of the tedious parts of agency life. That’s good news for you — it means this role is less about grinding through repetitive builds and more about quality, judgment and keeping a smart system running well. You’ll learn a lot here.
Roles and responsibilities
- Building, scheduling and sending email campaigns in HubSpot for our retainer clients — newsletters, nurture sequences, event promotion and the occasional “can this go out today?” request
- Managing lists like a pro: imports, cleanup, segmentation and building targeting lists with tools like Clay
- Setting up workflows, campaign tracking and links so every send is connected and measurable
- Scheduling and posting social content for clients, natively in each client’s platform
- Building and duplicating landing pages in HubSpot and WordPress from existing templates and designs
- Running event marketing from start to finish — emails and social before and after, ads, audiences
- Monitoring and evolving digital ads across LinkedIn, Google and Meta to generate awareness and leads
- Reviewing AI-assisted drafts for accuracy, brand voice and client nuance before anything ships
- Reporting on performance through AgencyAnalytics, Google Analytics and platform data
- Keeping our ClickUp boards honest — statuses current, due dates real, files where the team can find them
- Chasing client approvals (kindly but persistently) and keeping a clear picture of what’s built, scheduled and sent for every client
- Presenting ideas, reports and results to clients — walking them through what happened this month, what’s working and what we recommend next
- Writing things down as you go — documenting how things work so the whole team benefits, not just you
Skills required
Hands-on HubSpot experience is the big one — 3+ years building emails, workflows, lists and campaigns yourself. You’ve juggled marketing for multiple clients or brands at once (agency experience will set you above the rest), and you know your email fundamentals: deliverability, list hygiene and why HTML email breaks in mysterious ways.
Must be adaptable to new tools and technologies. We’re not asking that you’ve had experience with our entire stack (it’s always changing!) — we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to log in, poke around and figure it out. That said, experience with the following will set candidates above the rest:
- HubSpot (the deeper the better)
- WordPress
- Clay or similar data enrichment tools
- ClickUp or similar project management platforms
- LinkedIn, Google and Meta ad platforms
- Google Analytics and reporting tools like AgencyAnalytics
- AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT in real production work
Strong communication skills are a must — both written and verbal. This isn’t a back-room role: you’ll be in client meetings presenting reports, explaining results and talking through what’s next, so you should be comfortable owning the room (or the Zoom).
Attention to detail is an everyday part of the job. The best person for this role is someone who genuinely enjoys a clean list, a current project board and a month where nothing shipped late. If untracked work stresses you out a little — good, you’ll fit right in.
Above all, we’re looking for a curious mind and enthusiasm for making things run beautifully.
To apply, send an email to [email protected]. Tell us about the most complex marketing operation you’ve personally kept on the rails — what could have gone wrong, and what you did so it didn’t. Extra credit if you tell us about a workflow you’ve improved or automated with AI tools.
No phone calls and no recruiters please. This role is based in our St. Louis office four days a week.
