Digital Marketing Manager
Blaise’s path to digital marketing began in journalism and took a detour through public relations, with each experience adding to her unique outlook and skillset. Passionate about storytelling in any medium, her experience with writing, design, strategy and digital marketing combine to form holistic marketing plans.
What excites you about marketing?
Marketing blends left-brain strategy with right-brain creativity. Each project is like a jigsaw puzzle that comes with a few cornerstone pieces, but you get to mold and direct the final product. I love using both my imagination and analytical side to solve problems.
What do you do outside of work?
I read voraciously (40+ books a year) and like experimenting with different types of film photography. Every month I try to do something I’ve never done before; so far this year that’s included rock climbing, visiting a national park, practicing my swing at the driving range and giving someone a tattoo.
What do you wish you had more time to do?
In an alternate universe I’d spend a lot of time in a studio of some sort. Working on what, I’m not sure—printmaking, fibers, maybe photography? I’d also be perfecting my baking skills and English accent in the hopes of hoodwinking my way onto the Great British Baking Show.
What do you want people to say when they look at our work?
“Whoa. Better than I could have imagined.” I hope our work lives outside of what people expect.
