St. Louis Magazine Names Mike Spakowski in the St. Louis Business 500
Wow…we didn’t prepare a speech.
But if we did, we’d start it like this: Thanks to St. Louis Magazine for including Mike Spakowski in the inaugural St. Louis Business 500.
This list isn’t just a roll call of executives—it’s a who’s who of St. Louis leaders making things happen. From C-suite power players to up-and-coming entrepreneurs, the St. Louis Business 500 highlights the metro area’s most impactful, innovative and inspiring leaders pushing our community forward.
It’s no surprise to the rest of the team that Mike landed a spot on the list’s professional services category. As founder and partner at Atomicdust, Mike’s been the creative engine behind our agency, shaping brands, designing websites and making digital marketing fun and interesting. Under his leadership, Atomicdust’s work has caught the attention of Fast Company, Communication Arts and AIGA, among many others.
But what sets Mike apart isn’t just the logos and websites that he and the team have designed—it’s the fact that Mike’s not just building brands, he’s building community. He helped bring St. Louis Design Week to life, launched a monthly morning lecture series called Bright & Early, and supports local talent through I AM SO BOARD, a free job board for St. Louis creatives. Add it all up, and you’ve got someone who doesn’t just work in design and marketing—he elevates it.
And of course, we at Atomicdust wouldn’t be here without the incredible clients who trust us to help them grow. We’re especially excited to see many of them represented on the list, including leaders from Alberici, Schnucks, Enterprise Mobility, Harbour Group, Crane Agency, ARCO Construction, Capes Sokol, Husch Blackwell, M+H Architects, and PGAV. Congrats to you all as well!
St. Louis Magazine editors carefully curated the list of honorees through months of research, expert insights and reader nominations. Inclusion was based purely on merit as a celebration of the top leaders in our community.
So, while we may not have a speech prepared, we’ll say this: Congrats, Mike. Well deserved.
