Bringing meaning to the X.
Group PMX is the construction project management firm behind some of the most impactful projects in the New York area. They came to us with an outdated website and a glaring need to clarify their identity—their “X factor,” as they called it.
Bringing meaning to the X.
Standing out in the crowded, competitive field of construction management is a challenge. Companies need to have something “extra”—and for Group PMX, it is their collaborative, people-first culture and their deep experience in all phases of construction.
These qualities enable Group PMX to become an extension of their clients’ teams, lending the support and advice they need to keep projects on time, on track and on budget.
We borrowed arrows and shapes from the “X” in their name to drive home these differentiators. This core message around a relentless focus on pushing even incredibly complex projects forward took center stage as we built the website.
Building the experience.
Beautiful images of buildings are stock in trade in this industry, as are photos of people in safety gear looking over plans or clipboards. And while there’s some of that here, too, we’ve made the elements ownable throughout the site, with graphic overlays and masks.
Right from the start, the homepage is designed to get visitors the information they need. From featured work and news in the banner, to service- or industry-specific pages, the page works like an online directory for anything a prospect might need.

Shining a spotlight on project experience.
Our approach to building websites is simple: we want people to be able to see themselves in the site. For Group PMX, we put the industries they serve front and center, letting prospects see project experience that directly relates to the work they do every day.
We worked closely with the Group PMX team to establish a template for projects that would deliver exactly the information prospects need—nothing less, nothing more.
Letting the story live.
The team at Group PMX was thrilled to have a site that finally captured the true essence of their culture, and we were equally thrilled to have helped them bring it to life. They’re already adding their own content to the site as the business grows—proving (as we already knew) that Group PMX’s brand promise is true to their identity.
