It’s a complex corner of a complex industry: healthcare subrogation and third-party liabilities, a technical, legal and often behind-the-scenes process that ensures the right party pays medical claims. Benefit Recovery Group, or BRG, excelled in the space, but the business was evolving. So their team turned to Atomicdust to find a way to unpack their story with a new name, brand and website—and that was just the beginning.

Our work started with in-depth conversations with the company’s stakeholders, including its newly minted marketing team, to learn their specific healthcare finance niche. We studied the vocabulary, the “standard” way things have always been done, and what made the company unique.

And then the real work of finding a single word that could reflect their still-evolving mission in a crowded field. It was a deeply collaborative process as we explored ways to reflect the company’s smarter approach to third-party liability claims.

Intellivo was born.

With two simple words, Simply brilliant, we’ve captured the difference Intellivo brings to the crowded healthcare space and the impact they have on their customers’ health plans—not to mention a platform to grow.

Intellivo’s logo captures the bright, hopeful spirit of the brand language with just a few strokes. We affectionately called it the “checkspark,” demonstrating how Intellivo gives new power to three key healthcare stakeholders—health plans, providers and employers.

Bringing a new healthcare brand to life.

With a new take on “healthcare blue” and a vibrant secondary color palette, Intellivo truly represents brighter days for healthcare. The story unfolds on sales materials, social media and beyond, bringing a fresh new face to a part of healthcare that has typically been dry and hidden.

Internet, meet Intellivo.

The key to creating an effective website was clarity: articulating the company’s services, differentiators and efficacy as quickly as possible once the visitor lands on a page. By separating the utility navigation from the main navigation, the most visible options guide visitors toward the appropriate information, based on who they are and what they need.

Each page is strategically constructed to inform and inspire visitors: tangible statistics about outcomes, digestible lists of benefits, client testimonials showing social proof and links to educational content. Subtle animations and bold graphic devices maintain a modern user experience while reinforcing the brand and keeping attention on Intellivo’s messaging.

Creating a brilliant workplace for Intellivators.

A critical part of any rebrand is getting employees on board. As a fast-growing company, Intellivo embraced this idea with enthusiasm. They took the initiative to brand their employees “Intellivators,” and asked Atomicdust to extend the brand into their workplace.

The result is a vibrant, inviting space that reinforces the idea that employees are the key to the company’s success, “Simply brilliant solutions start here.”

We started with the company’s headquarters in Memphis, and are continuing to help them build out the brand in their new operations center in St. Louis.
