The why factor.

True Media is one of North America’s largest independent media agencies, with offices in both the Midwest and Canada. The company plans and executes media strategies for businesses of all sizes using data-driven audience insights and full-funnel media activations.

The why factor.

True Media had evolved and expanded over the years as they gained recognition for stellar work and took on larger international clients. But as they continued to help other brands grow, it became clear that their own brand needed that same boost. They needed to define their strengths as an agency, including those that made them stand out against the competition. To identify who they are, why they are special and how they help their clients. This is where we stepped in.

Tried, and ultimately True.

The process of shaping a brand begins with understanding the business. True Media plays an integral role for their clients, helping them uncover insights and executing highly effective media strategies. Through our research into how the company combines data, strategy and creativity to deliver strong outcomes for clients, we realized the power of “True” as the brand’s differentiator.

First up, we reworked the logo in a seemingly insignificant, but very pertinent way: a new bolded emphasis on ‘true’ instead of ‘media.’ A new tagline, “Find what’s true,” is a promise to clients and employees alike—a nod to the agency’s insight-gathering prowess.

When ideas take shape.

We infused the concept of finding what’s true throughout the visuals. Bold shapes in bright colors represent the company’s approach and methodology. White spaces where these shapes intersect signify the new perspective formed when ideas come together: the moment of discovery when True Media helps clients find what’s true about their brand, business and customers.

Revitalized and ready.

True Media’s new look is fresh and bold, much like their ideas. And it’s everywhere—they’ve updated their website and marketing materials to reflect new brand messaging, voice and visuals.
