St. Louis Mayor Fights Hunger with His Face at Atomicdust

What started off as a little joking around with our copier has resulted in more than 130 face scans to raise money for St. Louis Food Outreach, and now has attracted the attention of St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay.

That’s right, Mayor Slay fought hunger with his face at Atomicdust.

Yesterday, the Mayor and a couple members of his staff made the trip down to Midtown Alley to play along with our little fundraiser for Food Outreach. For the last few weeks, we’ve invited anyone in St. Louis to come to our office, scan their face and in return, we will donate $5 to our neighbors at Food Outreach. We’re humbled that Mayor Slay took time out of his busy schedule to participate, and we’re all in agreement that his impromptu visit was the highlight of our day, week and potentially, our year.

Thanks again to Mayor Slay, and all 130+ participants, for coming by to ‘Face Off Against Hunger’ for St. Louis Food Outreach! And if you haven’t come to scan… What are you waiting for?
