Meet Our New Digital Marketing Manager, Blaise Hart-Schmidt
If you’re visiting our office and hear someone yelling, “Wait! Wait! Wait!” there’s a good chance it’s Blaise Hart-Schmidt, our new Digital Marketing Manager, running to capture a photo, video or boomerang for the Atomicdust Instagram. If you follow us (and if you don’t—you should!) you may have noticed our weekly recaps and behind-the-scenes peeks at life at Atomicdust—all thanks to Blaise’s dedication to content creation.
A St. Louis native, Blaise got a degree in journalism and a minor in photography from Truman State University, and spent her post-college years freelancing in NYC and working for a local paper back in St. Louis before landing at the local arm of a national nonprofit. There she handled PR, and later made the move to digital marketing. She was intrigued by the field’s unique challenge of pairing decades-old marketing concepts with the latest digital trends to achieve business goals.
At Atomicdust, she brings a natural curiosity, creative attitude and knack for strategy to our clients’ social initiatives, as well as our social channels and blog. She’s eager to take on new challenges outside the social realm, too—whether it’s strategizing client referral systems or producing our quarterly audiobook newsletter—it’s the different problems we solve every day that get her excited to come to work in the morning.
Outside of work, Blaise is an avid reader and flea market enthusiast, hunting for vintage portraits to add to her collection. She tries to meditate at least a few times week, and loves scrolling through Instagram and Twitter to find upcoming trends in social media and marketing that she can help clients implement or try for Atomicdust.
Blaise has already brought new energy to Atomicdust, and we look forward to the work and office antics that she’ll capture next. Welcome to the team, Blaise!
