Join Atomicdust for Our Summer Portfolio Review

St. Louis is a great place to have a career in design. We have a vibrant scene of talented creatives and agencies producing great work. To help local creative professionals start their careers here off right, we’re hosting a Summer Portfolio Review.

On July 24, design students and young creatives can get their work critiqued by professional designers. Participants will get feedback on where to focus their efforts and what skills to sharpen, as well as practice speaking professionally about their work. We’ll provide some snacks and drinks for a fun, casual evening.

If you’re on the fence about participating, remember that portfolio reviews are a great way to make connections in the industry. Our newest designer, Rosie, met Atomicdust Partner/Creative Director Mike Spakowski when he was doing portfolio reviews at her university a few years ago. Rosie’s work impressed Mike, and they stayed in touch. Fast forward a few years, and Rosie had an inside connection when a spot opened up at Atomicdust. (And, of course, she got the gig.)

Spots are limited, so sign up soon. Participants should bring a physical portfolio or laptop/tablet to show their work.

Oh, and we’re also looking for a few more creative professionals to do reviews. If you’re a photographer, animator, illustrator or other creative-type, and you want to help out, send us an email!
