Thanks for Making the 2nd Annual Midtown Alley BBQ a Success

We want to thank everyone who came out for the 2nd Annual Midtown Alley BBQ! The event helped to raise more than $2,500 for Food Outreach. Everyone at Atomicdust enjoyed hosting the grillers, judges and attendees – and smelling the smoky goodness that was created in our back alley that day.

Big winners of the night:
3rd Place: Moosylvania
2nd Place: Atomicdust
1st Place: 2e Creative

Thank you to this year’s judges for taking on the task of tasting more than 10 different plates of barbecued deliciousness prepared by the participants – Owner and Proprietor of Sump Coffee, Scott Carey; Director of Development at Food Outreach, Becky Reichardt; Managing Editor at Feast Magazine, Liz Miller; and food blogger Stephanie Tolle, from IronStef.

Special thank you to all the agencies who took the time to participate and help make the barbecue a competitive success: Scorch, Momentum Worldwide, Goebel Furniture & Co., Antidote, Falk Harrison, SPACE Architecture + Design and SPOT Media Production Group!

Also, we want to extend a special thank you to everyone who contributed donations to help make the event a success – Rockwood Charcoal, The Cook’s Life, Mac’s Local Buys, Civil Life Brewery, 2nd Shift Brewing Company and Schlafly Beer.

Check out pictures from the event on Facebook, and we look forward to the 3rd Annual Midtown Alley BBQ.
