Atomicdust Wins Seven MarCom Awards

Atomicdust Wins Seven MarCom Awards

We’re in the thick of awards season at Atomicdust, entering both local and international competitions.

Marketing awards season is different from Hollywood awards season, with designer gowns and long speeches and champagne. But we do have designers, and sometimes we celebrate big wins with a happy hour. Thankfully there aren’t any speeches.

A few weeks ago we got word that we’d won seven design awards from the MarCom Awards.

The competition recognizes the outstanding achievement by creative professionals in the conception, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials. Sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, the competition is one of the oldest, largest and most-respected creative competitions in the world. Agencies, in-house departments, freelancers and production companies from around the world submitted more than 6,000 print and digital entries this year.

Of the seven entries, Atomicdust earned two Platinum, three Gold and two Honorable Mention MarCom Awards. According to MarCom Awards, in past years about 15 percent of entries won Platinum, the top award, and about 20 percent of entries won Gold.

We’d like to thank…

So I guess I lied when I said no speeches, because these blog posts are close to what we’d say if we were to give one. Thanks (and congrats!) to our remarkable clients for partnering with us and thank you also to the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

And awards season marches on. Fingers crossed.
