Atomicdust Projects Featured by Comm Arts, Awwwards and More

One of the most rewarding experiences we have as designers and marketers is hearing from clients who are pleased with our work and are seeing results in their companies. Another is having our work recognized by industry leaders—our peers who understand the challenges and possibilities we face every day.

Over the past few weeks we’ve had several of those experiences, and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t love every minute.  So much so that we’d love to share our excitement with you.

Communication Arts – City Foundry Website

We’ll start with perhaps the biggest news. A month or so ago we got an email from Communication Arts asking us about our website designs for City Foundry STL. If you’re not familiar, Communication Arts is one of the industry’s oldest, most respected publications. It’s been showcasing the best design, illustration, photography and advertising for the last 60 years.

Communication Arts chose the City Foundry website as Web Pick of the Day, and even if you already read our blog post about the project, our senior copywriter Rich Heend shared some interesting insights. You can read the article here.

Awwwards, a website that “recognizes the talent and effort of the best web designers, developers and agencies in the world,” also featured the City Foundry STL website, nominating it for site of the day.

Grits & Grids – Crazy Bowls & Wraps

As an agency that has worked with several local restaurants, we love looking to Grits and Grids for trends and inspiration in restaurant branding. They recently featured two Atomicdust projects: The Midwestern and Crazy Bowls & Wraps. It’s a cool experience to see our work alongside some of the best restaurant branding from around the world.

Art of the Menu – The Midwestern

Speaking of The Midwestern, Under Consideration wrote a great feature about the menu designs for its blog Art of the Menu. We agree with their article—we had some great parameters to work with. (Who doesn’t love meat, the Midwest and the folks from 1000 Spruce?!)

Many thanks to all of the outlets for featuring our work, and to our friends at City Foundry STL, The Midwestern and Crazy Bowls & Wraps!
